360° Views

A new and exciting feature on KEH.com…

Photobucket

The KEH website has a great new feature- 360° views! Just look for the icon next to the grade on individual product pages and click on the icon to see this feature in action.

A box will pop up with the product in it. You can then click and hold the mouse, then drag it across the image to rotate in the direction and speed you want it to go, stopping where you like along the way.

We’re working at getting as many of our products with 360° views as possible, but until then, you can view 360° images on the website for the majority of the items in the following categories:

  1. I was browsing through the Rolleiflex section and noticed two cameras with 360 photos had the same serial number. If you are going to do this please do it right.

    1. Were they different models or the same model but with different exceptions or in a different grade? I looked and couldn’t find any that we have listed that are different models but the same camera photo.

Our photos are representative… the photos are of the correct models, but are not of the actual camera you would be purchasing (i.e. you’re not purchasing that exact serial number shown). Therefore, the same photo may be used for multiple listings of the same item but that come with different accessories or may even have a broken exception on it such as “speeds off” since this isn’t a trait of the model itself but of an individual camera.

    2. A great KEH Camera Blog article would be the basics (OR details!!) of how to do the 360 degree photos. I might need some more equipment to do this (HINT, HINT!!).

I think my camera has an intervalometer built in, maybe I just need to steal and motorize my wife’s cake decorating “Lazy Susan”.

I still need some help on what software to put it together with!!
