This week’s photo of the week goes to Leigh Langley.
National parks make for some seriously great photographic material. In this well composed shot titled Window to the Universe, Leigh captures the beauty of the starry night sky on a Nikon D610 while exploring Arches National Park in Utah.
Why we love it
It can be somewhat of a challenge to get a good night sky photo with the amount of urban light pollution today, and even more challenging to capture the Milky Way in such significant detail. With an exposure time of 25 seconds, Leigh manages to capture it perfectly. As her title suggests, it really does leave us feeling like we’re looking into a window to the universe.
If there’s a clear sky tonight and you’re looking for something to do, we encourage you to grab your gear and get out there to see what you can capture!
